Product Introduction
Overview
Sintering and pelletizing equipment is the core equipment in the metallurgical industry for producing sinter/pellet from iron ore powder and other raw materials. It forms iron-making raw materials with good reducibility through high-temperature consolidation, improving the efficiency of blast furnace smelting. The full-process sintering and pelletizing equipment covers raw material processing, sintering and forming, cooling and screening, etc., suitable for production lines with an annual output of 500,000 to 5,000,000 tons, supporting customized process design and international standard adaptation (such as European standard EN, American standard ASTM).
Core Equipment Selection Suggestions
1. Sintering Equipment
Sintering machine: Belt sintering machine is used, with specifications ranging from 180-600㎡. It is equipped with multi-layer grate bars and an automatic material distribution system, with a sintering efficiency ≥1.5t/㎡·h, suitable for iron ore powder, metallurgical dust and other raw materials.
Annular cooler: Diameter 10-30m, using wind/draft cooling method, the cooled ore temperature ≤150℃, equipped with a waste heat recovery device to improve energy utilization.
Single-roll crusher: Roll diameter 800-1600mm, crushing particle size ≤50mm, suitable for coarse crushing of sinter, wear-resistant liner life ≥8000 hours.

2. Pelletizing Equipment
Pelletizing shaft furnace: Volume 30-150m³, using a wind baffle + drying bed structure, pellet compressive strength ≥2500N/piece, thermal stability ≤10% (+5mm).
Chain grate-rotary kiln system: Capacity 50-300 million tons/year, chain grate drying section temperature 300-500℃, rotary kiln calcination temperature 1250-1350℃, equipped with an automatic temperature control system.

Batching scale/mixer: Electronic batching scale accuracy ±0.5%, twin-shaft mixer speed 20-40r/min, mixing uniformity ≥95%, supporting precise proportioning of additives such as bentonite and slaked lime.
Equipment Advantages
Process adaptability: Supports high-alkalinity sintering (R=1.8-2.2) and acidic pellet (SiO₂≤6%) production, meeting the needs of different iron ore resource utilization.
Energy-saving design: The waste heat from the annular cooler can be recovered for preheating the combustion air, and the heat consumption of the chain grate-rotary kiln system ≤3.5GJ/t pellet.
