Affiliated with Taiyuan Silian Heavy Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., SMEC is headquartered in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province—China’s national energy and heavy chemical industry base—located within Taiyuan Yangqu Park of the Shanxi Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone. As a high-tech private joint-stock enterprise, the company specializes in the research, development, design, manufacturing, sales, and after-sales service of coking equipment.
The company occupies a total area of 68,700 square meters, with an industrial plant construction area of approximately 23,000 square meters. Its subsidiaries include: Taiyuan Silian Yucheng Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Taiyuan Silian Electric Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., Taiyuan Silian Ring Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Jinzhong Sany Hydraulic Equipment Co., Ltd., Taiyuan Sihai Hengtong Trading Co., Ltd., Taiyuan Silian Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. Construction and Installation Company, and China Silian Machinery and Engineering Corporation (SMEC), among others.
With a workforce of 486 employees, including 168 engineering and technical personnel (30 holding senior engineer titles), the group comprises departments such as Product R&D, Design Technology Center, Product Manufacturing Center, Quality Inspection Department, Process Technology Department, Coal Machinery Division, Sales & After-sales Service Department, Finance Department, Procurement Center, International Trade Department, and Logistics Management Department.
