Abstract
On July 29, according to reports from China National Radio in Taiyuan (Li Yanqin), the Taiyuan Municipal Federation of Trade Unions in Shanxi Province held an observation activity to create a "New Era Workers' Home." Zhang Lei, Vice Chairman of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee and Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, Xue Zhidong, Secretary of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions Party Group and Executive Vice Chairman, along with over 60 participants from various county and district federations of trade unions, grassroots trade unions, and members of the municipal federation's leadership team attended this observation and exchange activity.
In order to exchange experiences in building workers' homes, enhance the integrated construction level of "meeting, station, and home," and further promote the solid development of the "New Era Workers' Home" creation activities, the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions selected observation points such as Taiyuan Siliang Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., Yangqu County Workers' Activity Center, and the Workers' Activity Center of the Jiancao Ping District Federation of Trade Unions for visits and exchanges.
The observation group first visited Taiyuan Siliang Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (referred to as Siliang Heavy Industry), where the "New Era Demonstration Workers' Home" officially began operation on June 20, 2021.
